3b structural steel have just added a new 70’ trombone trailer to their fleet.
This allows the expanding steel business to transport very long rafters to sites in a single piece which ultimately reduces fabrication and construction costs for the clients. The self-tracking rear axle fitted helps negotiate tight construction sites and other additions like the extra high headboard, side posts to fit edge protection and access ladder ensures the trailer will meet all the latest safety requirements.
3b construction have been awarded the contract for the construction of a new waste recycling station at Auchencarroch landfill site for Barr Environmental. This project will allow Barr Environmental to help local authorities meet their statutory landfill diversion and recycling targets and is part of their overall environmental investment programme.
The project will be completed over the next 4 months and involves driven concrete piles, pile caps and ground beams, steel framed building, precast and reinforced concrete retaining walls, structural floor slabs, drainage works and specialist plant and machinery inside the building.
3b construction ltd has just completed erection of the structural steel frame for a large bulk storage warehouse at Port of Ayr. All the structural steel was fabricated by our Structural Steel Division and erected by our on site erection teams.

3b construction has just completed a large new house build near Moniaive.

3b construction has recently been awarded the contract to build a new house in Portpatrick on the Rhins of Galloway. Work will start on this high specification four bedroom home in August 2013.

3b construction has been contracted to build a bulk storage warehouse at the Port of Ayr. This will involve major concreting works and fabrication, supply and erection of a large steel framed building.

3b construction’s Structural Steel Division has supplied and erected the structural steel for the new visitor centre at Kirroughtree for the Forestry Commission.
Our groundworks team have now completed the substructure up to ground floor slab level.
